Aromatherapy & Aromachology

ESSENTIAL OILS
If you have ever enjoyed the scent of a flower, or peeled an orange, you have already experienced the aromatic qualities of essential oils. Essential oils are completely pure substances of plant origin, highly concentrated and extremely potent. They are present in various parts of plants (seeds, roots, stems, flowers, fruits, leaves, and resins), with one or two parts always prevailing, which will thus characterize the aromas and their therapeutic action. They carry their essential energy and are, therefore, considered their "soul." One drop of essential oil corresponds to 20 or 30 cups of herbal tea. In addition to their therapeutic benefits and characteristic fragrance, essential oils have been widely used in food preparation, beauty treatments, and healthcare practices. As they possess complex molecular structures, they create countless possibilities of natural chemical substances, which are fundamental to their therapeutic action. Among the diverse therapeutic properties of essential oils are: analgesic, digestive, decongestant, diuretic, relaxant, antiseptic, antidepressant, bactericidal, immunostimulant, antispasmodic, healing, stimulating, sedative, detoxifying, etc.
Essential oil penetrates the body through the skin, the olfactory system, and the respiratory system, being completely absorbed by the body without leaving harmful residues. They can be used in massage oils or creams, soaps, inhalations, immersion baths, foot baths, compresses, room aromatization, among others.
Did you know that in less than 1 second we are able to detect countless substances present in the air, in concentrations so low that no human-made machine could detect them?
Aromatherapy is limited to the use of only natural essential oils. It attributes specific healing qualities to specific oils. It is a therapeutic practice that uses the properties of essential oils to restore balance and personal harmony. Essential oils act on the physical, mental, emotional, and energetic systems, promoting physical health and well-being, and transfer all their therapeutic properties to the body and environment of those who use them.
Aromachology
Aromachology® is a term created to describe the concept developed for the study of the interrelationships between psychology and fragrance technology. The AROMA-CHOLOGY® brand was registered in 1989 by the Sense of Smell Institute, formally known as the Olfactory Research Fund. Aromachology works by activating certain areas of the limbic system and the hypothalamus, which control most of the body's vegetative and endocrine functions.
Aromachology focuses on achieving the positive effects caused by aromas throughout the body, on emotions and mood, to bring well-being and improve human quality of life. The entire Home Essencial Organics line is produced with Blends of Essential Oils and essences, free of artificial dyes, harsh detergents, or any other unhealthy toxins.
Perfumes and flowers exert specific reactions on our emotions, offering direct access to our brain and memory. If used correctly, aromas can magically stimulate our physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual self.
