Are you really doing your skincare in the correct order and manner?
Currently, the supply of skincare products is enormous and, sometimes, you may be led to use products inappropriate for your skin type and in the incorrect order. So come discover what's right once and for all! Estimated reading time: 2 minutes and 45 seconds.

First of all, you need to know which types of products are suitable for your skin type
Before creating your ideal skincare routine for your face, it is very important that you know your skin type. For each type, there are specific products, with their indicated agents and ingredients. Understand now the ideal types of products for the four skin types:
Normal skin
Neither here nor there: normal skin requires the least care of all types. As the name suggests, it usually does not show anomalies. Its oil and hydration levels are correct and its appearance is healthy, with regular glow and smooth texture. Pores are also almost imperceptible.
As it is naturally healthy skin, a basic routine is enough to take care of it: cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen. It is important that the products do not disturb the skin's balance, as they can cause negative reactions. Normal skin, however, can also present some problems, such as the appearance of spots or even acne. In these cases, the use of products aimed at these specific aspects is indicated, such as lightening creams or sunscreens that act against spots.
Dry skin
It is characterized by its drier appearance and texture. What happens is that, as it is skin with a low hydration content, it performs a natural exfoliation, where cell blocks flake off its superficial layer. Therefore, it becomes a not very flexible skin and prone to cracks, which can even turn into wounds.
There is no doubt that adequate and constant hydration is the best treatment for dry skin. The ideal is to invest in a potent daily moisturizer, with prebiotic active ingredients, which is also indicated for sensitized skin.
Oily skin
It has a higher amount of sebum, which causes problems such as a lot of shine on the face and more noticeable pores. This type of skin is also the most prone to developing acne, another factor of discontent.
A facial cleanser with seboregulatory activity should also be part of the skincare routine for oily skin. The excess of anti-acne products without adequate hydration can lead to worsening acne, development of dermatitis and allergies. Start by using one product at a time and remember to keep the skin hydrated and always protected from the sun.

Combination skin
A person with combination skin has a mixture of skin types. Normally, this happens in such a way that the so-called "T-zone" (nose and forehead) is oily and the other regions of the face are normal or dry. To create a skincare routine for combination skin, the recommendations mentioned above apply: each region should receive the most indicated treatment for the skin type it presents.
And after all, what is the ideal skincare order?
1. Cleanse
The first step in the order of skincare products is always to clean your face well! For this, at the beginning of the day you will use liquid or bar soaps. Now, if it's already the end of the day and you're wearing makeup, always use makeup removers/micellar products to remove this layer and only then wash.
For cleansing, you can use our Neutral Liquid Vegetable Soap. Its balanced formula has been specially developed with 100% natural, vegan, Sulfate-Free ingredients and is free of synthetic fragrance.

2. Tone, if you wish
After cleansing, it's time to tone! Not all dermatologists recommend its use, but if you're used to it and find it necessary, feel free! Skin toning has the function of balancing the pH, since the previous cleansing can cause this imbalance.
To tone, you can use our Multifunctional Anti-pollution Micellar Toner + Vitamin C. Its Vitamin C complex is extracted from the Super Fruit, Australian Kakadu Plum, the world's largest source of Vitamin C. It protects against skin oxidation, helps increase collagen and hyaluronic acid production.
3. Treat the problem
It's time to focus on what you want to treat or improve in the appearance of your skin! This part is entirely specific and directed to each person's skin, therefore, the skincare products you use here must be indicated for your skin type, recommended by your dermatologist. Whether it's a serum, a specialized lotion, or a facial mask, the tip is always to start with the most liquid products and finish with the thicker and more consistent ones!
To treat, you can use our Multifunctional Facial Blending + NIACINAMIDE. A luxurious Multifunctional Hydrating Serum made to care for the eye area, face and neck. It combines the hydration of Vegetable Squalane Oil and Hyaluronic Acid with precious antioxidants: Niacinamide - Vitamin B3, C, E & A.

4. Hydrate
Hydrating the skin is indispensable in the care routine of ALL SKIN TYPES, from the driest to the oiliest! Therefore, this step should not, under any circumstances, be ignored. As with all other steps, it is very important here to know your skin type, to choose the right product for you. More consistent and "heavy" moisturizers are more indicated for dry skin, as are mineral oils, while lighter, gel-based ones are for oily and acne-prone skin.
To hydrate, you can use our Neutral Base Moisturizer. It has a combination of 100% natural ingredients, such as Shea butter, Soy Glycerin, and Vegetable Lecithin, with a composition rich in vitamins and fatty acids, providing a great moisturizing effect, smoothness, softness, and promoting the natural silkiness of the skin.
5. Protect
Lastly, and also very important: sunscreen. The ideal is to have one specific for the face and for your skin type as well.
